Protect The Turtle Journey Did you know that an adult Green Sea Turtle journeys home to the nesting grounds where they were born? It is a lonely journey with unnecessary dangers like boat strikes, fishing gear, oil spills, pollution, poaching & climate change. Our ancestors cared for the land and sea since before time way before these dangers came to our waters. The knowledge has been passed down through island custom, from ancestor to elders and to next generation. I am one of the next generation.I hope you like wearing my art and talk about what it means and think of ways to help make the sea healthier again. Art & Story by Obe Mau.
